For anyone please, at 4:40 in the video is an Open Right Turn in Shadow position. What is your prefered way to get into and out of this turn? I know and use one way but I am sure that there is another way so what do you use? I love the tango!

I remember the Syncopated Separation timing:1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8....AND ONE AND TWO, 3 AND 4...5 6 7 8. This reminds me of what happens in another paso move - The Left Foot Variation.

The "Chugging" actually came from the Lindy Hop/Jitterbug dance move called "The Sprinkler".

For the Toe Heel Swivels, my favorite combo goes just like this - Swivel, swivel, cross and hold, swivel, swivel, cross and hold, swivel, swivel, cross, swivel, swivel, cross, swivel, swivel, cross, swivel, swivel, cross. (Or - QQS, QQS, QQQQQQQQQQQQ.) This is a great way to do timing changes in this gold jive move---my two bits.

Shoulder to Shoulder - sometimes called Offset Breaks by some dance instructors.

Basic in place - sometimes called Time Step in Place, and on the "4 and 1"--if you are an International Style cha-cha dance expert - that in-place chasse that happens in that move---is known nowadays as the "compact chasse".

I know a lot of this cha-cha stuff from reading the ISTD syllabus for these same cha-cha figures aforementioned! I love the New York, Natural Top, and even the Aida figures.

The Hover Corte can be used as a sort of a "checking action" step at a corner especially in dancesport environments if you want to dance beyond-gold figures after the Corte (such as the polka chasses or even the quick-run hops in PP).

What steps would be good to do going into the 4th hold of the cha cha (at minute 13:34)? I would love to stick it into my kids’ routine, just don’t know a step that will lead into it smoothly. Or out of it, for that matter

Turning (Open Right Turn), QQSQQS, ending weighted on Left foot (Leader). This is "Silver Level" so I'm seeing the ORT starting with a Rock or Check step with the Leader's Left foot. Why and or how do I not understand this? Can anyone explain the entrance and exit on this? To exit is just another Rock or Check step?
